Lesmurdie Falls

Bub and I took the kids to find Lesmurdie Falls on Sunday. Only a 10 min drive from home. I used to see the sign every day I drove Brody up to school and would say "one day we should go and have a look". Well that day finally came! Brody didn't come of course. Took a couple of wrong turns but found it with the help of the street directory.

It wasn't much to look at when we got there, a carpark (with quite a few cars) bit of grass, tables and chairs and a sort of creek meandering through. We followed the path up the hill and were pleasantly surprised! Willow was in his glory walking through the bush.

Tori took these photos with her camera, when we got to the waterfall.

Curtis....

This is Mum's dog Curtis, who was given to us when Mum moved to NZ.

Here he is having his bath yesterday. Doesn't he look like he is just loving it? NOT! He runs as soon as the tap is turned on, and Tori had to get him out from under my bed :)

These are some photos that Tori has taken of him. I just downloaded 196 photos off her camera and there must have been 100 taken of him. The little pink blanket she bought for him. It goes on the couch for him to lay on. Poor thing, if it is not embarressing enough to have a pink blanket, we have to wrap him up in it like a baby :)

This dog thinks he is human! He loves putting his head on a pillow, and here he is laying on my bed before I got to make it (or maybe it never got made that day, that's possible)

In Loving Memory....

of Roma Browner

18.10.1915 - 20.6.2007

My dear Great Aunty Roma passed away one year ago today. I lived with her when I was in yr 11 in Perth. She was a beautiful lady and loved animals. She bred both toy poodles and birds. She loved gardening and spinning wool.

She is sadly missed by her family.

Love and hugs to Gerry and the girls.
