We have lights......

The electrician came in yesterday and installed x5 downlights in the kitchen and a chandelier in the dining room.....

and a chandelier in the lounge, entry, family and my bedroom.....

They look really good....maybe the family one should be a bit lighter, but I will try and get a stronger globe, but the others look really good!

Now on to the painting.....

Biggest Kitchen Table....

Rhonda from Down To Earth is hosting a Biggest Kitchen Table discussion, starting tomorrow.

It's time to take stock of living simply.

In Rhonda's words......together we can check our homes to see if improvements or changes are needed. We'll be checking a number of things like disposable products and food, to see if they can be replaced with home made products. We'll be checking our household cleaners, aprons, stockpile cupboards and a few other things I'll tell you about later in the week. We'll also include a no spending week, that will start on Friday 3 July and continue till Thursday night, July 9.

I certainly need the no spend week...I have been really slack for a little while now....it's a perfect time to stop.....think about what I have.....what I can do without.......what I don't need......
